Since 2009, PUCK has provided a public health certified kitchen for the use of small food businesses, school hot lunch programs, cooking workshops and other rentals.

In 2020, PUCK expanded our reach into the community and began offering various health and wellness programs that include chair yoga, forest bathing and Nordic walking. These newer programs have all been well attended and successful with extremely positive feedback and testimonials from our participants.

Over the last year our vision has expanded to form PUCK as a Community Hub that offers an even wider range of programs for all ages within the Caledon area.

PUCK has participated in Seniors’ Month with a free lunch funded by the Town of Caledon and prepared by ecoCaledon volunteers.

PUCK also hosts Girl Guides and 4H at below market rental rates.

We would like to offer more low or no cost programs suggested by the community such as:

  • Knitting, crocheting, and sewing circles and lessons
  • Card and board games
  • Restorative yoga classes
  • Hiking groups
  • Arts and crafts
  • Guest speaker series and specialty workshops
  • Themed community parties
  • Kids movie nights with snacks
  • More cooking programs and camps for adults and youths

PUCK operates within the Palgrave United Church building. Since PUCK rentals and programs represent most of the operating hours within the building, PUCK must contribute its share of these expenses, along with program operating costs such as kitchen supplies and instructor honorariums.

PUCK was extremely fortunate to be the recipient of the 2024 Town of Caledon Community Golf Tournament Grant towards the cost of renovating the building to make it a more flexible, comfortable and energy efficient community space. As a result, there are now four rooms that can be utilized for community programs or rented out in the community for events.

PUCK needs your help to maintain our low and no cost community programs.  If you wish to support PUCK with a financial donation, you can:
