SUMMARY:Forest Therapy with Janette Cridland
DESCRIPTION:Join Janette Cridland\, Certified Forest Therapy Guide from Forest Floor for an experience that is being prescribed for its therapeutic benefits by doctors through the national Park Prescription (PaRx) program.  Experience the natural surroundings through the senses. \nThe group will meet at the Palgrave Rotary Park lot on the east side of Hwy 50 just north of the Palgrave Pond at 10 am on Monday\, July 13 and walk through the underpass to the dam on the west side to begin the session. \nThe experience will be approximately 90 minutes and walking will be at a slow pace with several stops.  Although it isn’t challenging\, the terrain can be uneven\, so supportive walking shoes are recommended.  Some participants may want to use walking poles and if you don’t have any\, PUCK can lend you a pair. \nNote that Janette will be leading two more sessions at different locations in Palgrave on Wednesday\, August 12 and Thursday\, September 24.  Registration information for these sessions will be posted on the palgravekitchen.org website when the locations are confirmed. \n  \n
